Ubuntu

Ubuntu is a free and open-source Linux distribution based on Debian. Ubuntu is officially released in three editions Desktop, Server, and Core. All the editions can run on the computer alone.

Ubuntu is released every six months and Ubuntu's Long Term Support (LTS) editions are released every 2 years and are provided security updates for 5 years.

Debian

Debian is a Unix-like operating system consisting of free software. "Ian Murdock" founded the Debian Project on August 16, 1993. Debian 0.01 was released on September 15, 1993

Debian Stable branch is the most popular edition for personal computers and network servers, and it is used as the basis for many other Linux distributions.

CentOS

CentOS is a Linux distribution that provides a free, enterprise-class, community-supported computing platform functionally compatible with its upstream source, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

The first CentOS release in May 2004. Since the release of version 7.0, CentOS officially supports only the x86-64 architecture.
